Al Ghurair City gears up for Ramadan with exciting events for the whole family

Dubai, September 14th, 2007: Al Ghurair City, the first shopping mall in the Middle East, has unveiled an exciting line-up of events and activities planned in celebration of Ramadan.

This Ramadan enjoy an evening with your family as you explore the harmonious blend of enclosed and high street shopping, exciting streetscapes, and the best in entertainment and food all lit up with traditional lanterns and moons at Al Ghurair City.

Stop by for a kahwa and dates in a traditional Majlis as you listen to authentic Kanoon, Oud and Sitar music. Friends and families can also enjoy the many magical tales from Arabia and unique puppet shows as they gather in the beautifully crafted Majlis. Musical performances will take place at Al Ghurair City on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays during the holy month and traditional story telling and puppet shows are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30pm on wards.

Shoppers will also have the opportunity to take home 2 Mercedes Bens S Class and C Class luxurious cars by spending Dhs 200 at the mall to take part in the lucky draw. Winners will be announced on the 27th of September and the 16th of October at Al Ghurair City.

Weekends at Al Ghurair City offer additional treats as the mall plays host to Dubai’s popular Al Arabiya Radio station on Fridays and Saturdays. The RJ will offer shoppers the chance to win lots of gift prizes to spend in selected retail outlets available at Al Ghurair City.
